Starting 2010, Blank Label is a core team of four based across three time-zones
and still doing the virtual hi-5 for every
custom men’s dress shirt. Designed by You, Stitched by Us.
Founder and Chief Shirt
Fan Bi’s
a real slow learner. In high school, he took classes in Latin, French, Chinese and
German, before realizing that he absolutely sucked at languages. He went to university
in Sydney, tried out college in Boston, finally realizing the classroom was not
his place. Pursuing the entrepreneur drop-out story, he’s lived on four different
continents, and has always had a passion for simply observing people. As the leader
of the revolution, Fan’s responsible for not getting caught whilst passing
out as many co-created custom dress shirts as possible. He currently resides in
Shanghai and flies between Boston, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo and Sydney. He
starts adding ‘super’ in-front of every word when he gets excited.
Chief Hamster
To answer the question where the name comes from,
Zee responds, ‘I make things go round’, and he does.
He’s the mastermind technician, thoughtful architect and hardcore programmer
that makes the site run smoothly and
dress shirt design app kick ass. Zee gets most excited when we get
responses from gym junky customers who said we’ve finally been able to solve
their fit problem because Zee’s probably the one who found them on
www.bodybuilding.com
forums. He keeps an eye out for the latest trends based in Orange County, Southern
California. Zee doesn’t hold back when he thinks you’re wrong. It can
either be quite funny or fairly embarrassing depending on where you’re sitting.
Lead Evangelist
Our biggest supporter is not our mothers but our online marketing whizkid,
Danny Wong.
Somehow he manages to spread the good word on the web and through the street about
this impending revolution. Hailing from the street etiquette of Queens, New York,
to working for a high-end fashion company in Manhattan, Danny also muses up the
latest trends and offerings for our customers. Nowadays you can find him in Boston
with our Lead Artist, Alec, trying to be the wingman to ladies-man Alec. When Danny
gets going, every other phrase is ‘that sucks balls’ with every phrase
in between being ‘not for nothing but …’. Partly why we think
he is wingman and not ladies-man.
Lead Artist
Design is an art form, and if you’re going to be designing at our site and
on our custom dress shirt app, then we need to make it artistically inspired. Alec,
our Lead Artist should be the one getting the kudos for the uniqueness of our site,
and the given the nature of your individually-made dress shirts, you can probably
understand why that is important to us. Alec’s in Boston and loves to sing
smooth beats on the side, another reason he trumps Danny with the ladies. Alec always
starts the conversation ‘what’s up?’ never actually expecting
a response nor allowing time for one.
